Southeastern's team sharpens skills at CASE training - Southeastern Equipment

This past July, salesman from across the company attended a two-day Case training session at the Central Pennsylvania Institute of Science and Technology. Case product specialists were on-site, sharing information on new features and answers to common field questions.

Each salesman received first-hand experience operating several Case machines and popular competitor equivalents. The team also expanded their knowledge of Leica’s machine control technology when they operated a dozer and excavator outfitted with the product.

“THE TEAM REALLY VALUED THIS TRAINING. WE’VE GOT SOME VETERANS AND SOME NEW TEAM MEMBERS — THIS WAS A GREAT REFRESHER FOR EVERYONE.” said Brian Burket, regional manager of the Holt and Novi branches.

 WHAT IS MACHINE CONTROL?

This technology uses rotating lasers or GPS positioning to automatically guide machines with precision cuts, grades, and digs. This innovate technology eliminates over-digging and undercutting.

THE FUTURE OF THE JOB-SITE

“On-machine and off-machine guidance control systems are the future of construction sites. Some government jobs are already requiring this technology because it saves money through reduced labor and materials.” says Jared, Southeastern’s technology specialist.
